Hello everyone we w8ll be having a meeting this Saturday at 3pm we will be talking about QR code medical bracelets and tips n tricks for ostomy care. Snacks will be provided

SUPPORT GROUP MEETING THIS SATURDAY

U.S. Representatives Neal Dunn (FL) and Greg Murphy (NC), both urologists, are circulating a U.S. House Congressional Sign-On Letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) urging the agency not to move forward with the proposed expansion of the DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program to include ostomy and urological supplies. They need their colleagues in the House from both parties to sign this letter for the greatest impact.



CMS will be issuing their "final rule" in November, so patient participation in this advocacy effort is timely and critically important.



We are calling on all advocates NOW to contact their U.S. House representatives to request and urge them to sign this bipartisan letter before the deadline of October 3rd!

This is sooooooo important! Back when I was going through my surgeries I struggled finding supplies and was lost. I never had enough! That was 15 years ago. Let's help others and ourselves to not have to go through this!

Our Thanksmas was fun and the food was good.. the tortilla blanket was a hit. This young man wearing said blanket was determined to have it, and in the end hecwas victorious!! I love all these people in this group

Tomorrow Saturday November 16, 2024 at 4 PM we will have our Annual Thanksmas! Can't wait to see everyone there!

I'm trying to get the newsletter out but I wanted to post here as well before Saturday.

Due to a unanimous vote from active members, we are doing our Annual Thanksmas on Saturday November 16th at 4 PM. We will have a feast, turkey and stuffing provided by the group, please bring your favorite side, we will also do a white elephant again, gift limit is $20.
