Still thinking about the incredible connections made at last week! đ
It was such a treat to catch up with Tiffany Law at IEI and talk with Superintendents about how we can move the needle on teacher retention. We are pushing for systemic change by proving that educator mental health is the foundation of a healthy school system. đđ
The proof is in the data: educators participating in are over 6x more likely to stay in the profession!
I also loved getting to connect with Houston Kraft of . His focus on kindness and character fits perfectly with the heart of Happy Teacher Revolution and it is so inspiring to find fellow changemakers on a mission to support the humans behind the desks. đ¤
A massive thank you to the Equitable Foundation () & Kerekes for sponsoring HTR and for gifting 100 copies of my book, âHappy Teacher Revolution: The Educatorâs Roadmap to Claiming and Sustaining Joy,â to our session participants! đâ¨
Choose joy. Always. đđ

Reflecting on last week at ! đ
I spent some time presenting the heart and soul of Happy Teacher Revolution and it felt so good to be in a room full of people ready to prioritize the âperson behind the profession.â
We talked about moving away from just studying burnout and instead looking at what actually makes us stay. The proof is in the numbers. Educators who participated in HTR are over 6x more likely to stay in the profession for 3 or more years! đ
This work is how we move the needle. We are pushing for systemic change by proving that educator mental health is the foundation of a healthy school system.
A massive thank you to the Equitable Foundation (.financial & Kerekes) for sponsoring HTR and for being such a champion for educator mental health. Because of their generosity, we were also able to gift 100 copies of my book, âHappy Teacher Revolution: The Educatorâs Roadmap to Claiming and Sustaining Joy,â to our session participants! đ
As I shared during the session: You cannot pour from an empty bowl, and you certainly cannot lead from an empty soul.đ

Letâs be real: 2026 is a tough year to be an educator. đ
As the pace of innovation accelerates, our teachers are being asked to do more, learn more, and be more than ever before. But innovation without support is just a recipe for burnout. That is why this partnership feels so personal and so vital.
I am incredibly moved to share that the .financial Foundation is sponsoring Happy Teacher Revolution at the this year.
Why is this a big deal? In a world of âtop-downâ solutions, Equitable is backing a movement that is:
⢠Teacher-founded
⢠Teacher-led
⢠Teacher-powered
To see a global leader like Equitable align so deeply with our vision and values is, in itself, truly revolutionary. They arenât just investing in a programâŚthey are investing in the human beings who make education possible.
Join me in San Diego for our session:
âHappy Teacher Revolution: The EdTech Retention Solutionâđ
Weâll be exploring how Psychological Well-Being (PWB) is the secret ingredient to sustainable innovation. Plus, thanks to Equitableâs support, the first 100 attendees will walk away with a signed copy of my book, âHappy Teacher Revolution: The Educatorâs Roadmap to Claiming & Sustaining Joy.â
Huge gratitude to Kerekes and the Equitable team for standing with us on the front lines of teacher wellness. Letâs go! đ

San Diego, here we come! âď¸âď¸
Iâm thrilled to announce that Iâll be presenting at the ASU + GSV Summit next week! Iâll be leading a session titled: âHappy Teacher Revolution: The Retention Solution for EdTech Implementation.â
In a world of rapid innovation, we often forget that the most important âhardwareâ in any classroom is the teacher. If we want EdTech to succeed...we have to support the people implementing it.
Huge shoutout to my friends at the and Jarian Kerekes for their incredible sponsorship and support. They truly âget itâ when it comes to caring for our educators.
Canât wait to see familiar faces, share some âglimmers,â and sign 100 books for our attendees! See you there!đđĽ

The strongest villages are built by the women who refuse to settle for the status quođ
If it takes a village to raise a child, the real revolution lies in how we support and sustain the ones who lead that village. For me, that support comes from the brilliant community of authors and leaders I am lucky enough to stand alongside this Womenâs History Month.
I am so incredibly proud to see Happy Teacher Revolution on the shelf with powerhouse works like STEM for All by Leena Bakshi McLean, Ed.D and Healing for Leadership by Antoinette Gutierrez, Ed. D. These women are proving that equity and emotional intelligence are the true foundations of a resilient school system.
The revolution continues with the practical classroom wisdom of and in Teachables and Tools for Classroom Instruction, as well as the strategic brilliance of Renae Bryant, Ed.D. and Lynette White in The Ed Branding Book. We are also seeing a massive shift in how women rise together through the Sister to Sister Leadership series, including titles like Promotion Power, Leading Legends, and Bold Brilliance.
Every one of these books represents a different facet of what it means to lead with heart and strength. We are not just writing chaptersâŚwe are building a legacy of joy, confidence, and purpose for the next generation of educators.
Which of these powerful voices is currently fueling your professional growth or inspiring your next step in the classroom? Letâs keep amplifying these leaders and building our village togetherđ

STEM is for ALL, and so is Well-Being. đđĄ
I just returned from the leadership symposium, and the biggest takeaway is clear: the liberation of our students through inclusive, powerful STEM education is inextricably linked to the well-being of their teachers. You cannot have one without the other.
This conference wasnât just about curriculum; it was about disrupting systemic âcognitive redliningâ and tackling the urgency culture that leads to burnout. True equity requires a systemic shift that gives educators the support (and quiet time!) they need to move from âmanager modeâ into creative âmaker mode.â
Swipe to see the 10 most powerful lessons I learned, including:
⢠Why competence calms the nervous system.
⢠The profound impact of student voice (Slide 9 is a must-read).
⢠The 5 Câs of systemic support.
We must embrace the long game. Systemic change happens in slow, steady ways, like water eroding rock. Letâs start with one tiny experiment today.
Join the revolution! Commit to advocating for sustained support and well-being.
