School Starts on August 11.

Here are 7 steps to help kids have a super first day at school:

7 Steps to a Super First Day!
Get a Good Night's Sleep: This is super important! Make sure to go to bed at a reasonable time so you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to learn. A well-rested brain works much better!

Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Fuel your body and brain! A nutritious breakfast, like oatmeal, eggs, or fruit, will give you the energy you need to pay attention, play, and have fun all morning long.

Pick Out Your Outfit the Night Before: No last-minute wardrobe worries! Lay out your clothes, including shoes and socks, the evening before. This saves time and stress in the morning, making getting ready much smoother.

Pack Your Backpack: Double-check your backpack with a grown-up the night before. Make sure you have all your school supplies, your lunch or lunch money, and any important notes for your teacher. Being organized helps you feel prepared.

Know How You're Getting There: Talk with your family about how you'll get to school – will you walk, ride the bus, or get a ride in a car? Knowing the plan helps calm any jitters about the journey.

Take a Deep Breath and Smile: If you feel a little nervous, that's totally normal! Take a few deep breaths. Remember that your teachers are excited to see you, and there will be lots of other kids who are happy to make new friends. A friendly smile goes a long way!

Be Ready to Listen and Learn: Your first day will be packed with new information. Listen carefully to your teacher's instructions, especially about classroom rules and routines. Being a good listener helps you know what to do and makes the day much easier and more fun!

By following these steps, you'll be well on your way to an amazing and super first day!
