➡️Our SSAC (Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee) representatives went on a field trip to San José City Hall last week. Thank you to Board President Frances Herbert and ESD Coordinators Shannon Bui
and Eva Marcoida for supporting the trip. Students enjoyed a meaningful learning experience exploring the history of San José, viewing exhibits throughout City Hall, and engaging in thoughtful conversations with District 2 Councilmember Pamela Campos, our host, and City leaders and staff. The visit provided valuable insight into local
government and inspired our future leaders. District 10 Councilmember George Casey also stopped by to say hi and take a picture with our group. 🏢

Our school district is exploring options to protect the quality of education in our local schools amid uncertainties in state and federal funding. All funds generated by a potential local parcel tax would be controlled locally and can not be taken by the State or the Federal government.
