Tonight, we had the privilege of recognizing talented and driven students in our district at the board meeting tonight for the theme of STEAM ( science, technology, engineering, art, and math). From engineering pathways and computer science milestones to independent scientific research, musical achievement, and artistic excellence, these students reminded us that innovation and creativity are not separate pursuits. They are one and the same. Congratulations to all of the student recognized. We are so proud of you.

Last weekend the Del Mar High School soccer team captured the CCS Division III Championship, winning 5–3 on penalties and securing the first CCS soccer title in school history.
