Summit Public School: Tahoma

Join us tomorrow after school for our annual core Celebration of Learning! Students will present what they've learned in their English, Math, Science, Math, and Spanish classes to friends and family through demonstrations and performances. It'll be a fun evening celebrating their hard work, with refreshments by Kona Ice!

We're so excited to celebrate our seniors tomorrow afternoon! Seniors will get to leave their legacy at Tahoma by signing the Class of 2026's banner with their Concrete Next Steps.

During this Teacher Appreciation Week, we felt the love from our Tahoma families. And our teachers appreciate you, too! The work isn’t always easy, but the rewards are the smiles from students, and watching them learn, grow, and succeed.

Walden West science camp recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, and Tahoma students were on hand to help at their gala celebration. Walden West has provided outdoor experiences for thousands of young people in our county, and Summit Tahoma students have volunteered as cabin leaders for visiting schools, including Janeth, Avery, and Isabel. It’s been a great partnership!

A 9th grade Tahoma team calling themselves the "Fish Fighters" recently made a strong showing at the Tech Challenge. Nice work John, Scarlett, Julia & Miu!

Congratulations to Kaiden who was recently awarded Volunteer of the Year by Santa Clara County Office of Education ! For three years, Kaiden has volunteered as a cabin leader at Walden West. He shared these words at the board meeting: "If you have free time, and feel like giving back to your community, go volunteer!" Also, Kaiden was accepted to UC Berkeley starting this fall.
