Tomorrow (5/19) at 9 am, the Marin County Board of Supervisors will consider a proposal to contract with Peregrine, a surveillance tech company founded and staffed by former Palantir executives.

Peregrine is tied to Palantir, a corporation known for its work with ICE, military targeting systems, and mass surveillance infrastructure. Community members have serious concerns about privacy, data sharing, and impacts on over-policed communities.

A few months ago, our own Marin DSA members Alex C. and Otis L. traveled to Cuba to deliver medical supplies to an OBGYN clinic that has been starved through the US blockade. Scroll through to see some sights from their trip! 🇨🇺

This was a part of the Nuestra América Convoy, a global coordinated mission that involved the deliveries of approximately 20 tons of humanitarian supplies. ✊

The No ICE in Marin coalition, a grassroots campaign of 16 local community organizations, is organizing by pressuring our elected officials to stop ALL cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

Since last fall, we have recruited over 5,000 residents to sign petitions and mobilized hundreds more to give public comment at Board of Supervisors meetings, calling on the Marin County Sheriff and the Board of Supervisors to end their shameful cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
