What a fun afternoon of great chili, wonderful costumes and lots of laughs. Huge thanks to our sponsor Always Caring of Connecticut and the talented chefs- Chef Kosta LCB Senior Living , Chef Laura Atria Senior Living and Chef Dave Waterstone on High Ridge for donating their time and delicious chili for our members to enjoy. Congratulations to Chef Kosta for taking first place. Our members prove to us that we are never too old to keep playing and having fun!

A heartfelt thank you to our community partners at Schoke Jewish Family Services for bringing their Mobile Food Pantry to the Stamford Senior Center! During these challenging economic times, access to fresh, healthy food is more important than ever. This wonderful partnership helps ensure that older adults have access to nutritious food while easing some of the financial pressures many are facing.

Medicare’s Annual Enrollment period begins today! If you need assistance evaluating your options call the center to schedule an appointment with a CHOICES trained Medicare counselor . We will also be hosting a Medicare Update educational session on October 23rd.

Music really does soothe the soul! Our members enjoyed a beautiful afternoon filled with the enchanting sounds of the harp, thanks to the incredibly talented Lisa Tannebaum There’s something magical about live music, it lifts our spirits, brings people together, and creates moments we remember. We’re so grateful to Lisa for sharing her beautiful talent with our Stamford Senior Center community!
