Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of our United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedom.

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer — it is a solemn reminder that liberty has been secured and preserved by generations of American heroes willing to lay down their lives for this nation.

The Iredell Republican Patriot Men proudly stand in gratitude for those who gave everything for God, Country, and Freedom. We also remember the Gold Star families whose sacrifices continue long after the battlefield falls silent.

FORMER GOV ROY COOPER'S RELEASED INMATES NOW CHARGED WITH WORSE CRIMES - Inmates released early from North Carolina prisons, under then Gov. Roy Cooper during the COVID-19 pandemic, have re-offended including 18 now charged with murder.

State records show more than 600 of the roughly 3,500 released convicts went on to commit serious new felonies like homicides, s*x offenses, and other violent crimes in the years since the 2021 settlement.
