Whether it’s a backyard cookout, tailgate, or weekend get-together, a few simple food safety steps can help keep foodborne illness off the menu:

🥩 Keep raw meat separate from cooked and ready-to-eat foods.
🌡️ Use a food thermometer to make sure food reaches a safe internal temperature.
🧊 Keep cold foods cold until you’re ready to cook or serve them.
