Raising them right!

Small, volunteer departments thrive when you raise the next generation to pitch in and help!

Work continues on the new-to-us trucks while we have some great helpers scrubbing hoses! Our crew is also scrubbing the trucks inside and out in preparation for the roll out!

As we move forward putting some new trucks into service for the department, there are a couple of people we need to thank for all of their hard work today:
Thank you to Bryan Morrow and Jack Burgess for working on the roof of the new 1481, donated to us by Walnut Grove Fire Protection District. With Bryan and Jack’s excellent efforts, we are so much closer to getting this truck on the road!
These two gentlemen not only fixed the roof, they fixed the brake lights, scene lights, code lights, and adjusted the brakes!
Work on the trucks will continue throughout the weekend and we hope to have a great update next week on our progress of moving trucks into service!
