As first responders, we have deep respect for the courage, commitment and selflessness it takes to answer the call in service to others.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the military heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

From all of us at AMR, we remember. 🇺🇸

What a way to end this years EMS Week! On our final day celebrating our heroes we enjoyed another round of tacos galore! 🌮😋

While ending on a positive note we did have a bittersweet moment in congratulating the new FTO Supervisor Zach C on his last shift on the road tonight. Monday he transitions into his new role to which we know you’ll do so well in!

We can say these city streets, fellow roadies, and overall the night shift will miss you. See you during business hours! ❤️

As for closing EMS week, the days may have past but we strive to show our appreciation for the profession year round. Just like the call for help can happen 24/7, so does our gratitude!

Remember, “Improving outcomes, together”

GOOOOOOOOD MORNING SYRACUSE and a happy Friday!

We had a bright and early start today making breakfast for our off coming night shift and oncoming day crews.

How lucky we are to have made to order breakfast with our station mom’s secret ingredient pancakes 🥞 😋

Thank you 7 Brew Coffee for the delivery this morning, they know caffeine and we definitely know how to drink it! 🧋💨

Another day full of gratitude here in Upstate NY for our amazing providers.

We tested out some of management’s cooking skills with a little taco bar 🌮 Judging by the faces I’d say it was an EMS approved meal!😋

A special shout out today goes to one of our own Abbi Kime. Today she has officially completed the rigorous coursework, clinical, and field experience to graduate from the Finger Lakes Community College Paramedic Program! Join us in wishing her well on her upcoming certification exams and the entry to such an amazing career! Her preceptor Maddy was able to attend to show how proud we all are of completing such an amazing accomplishment. Congratulations Abbi! 🎉🥳🎊

“Improving outcomes, together” has been the theme for this week and this dynamic duo definitely proves that!

Day 4 of EMS was well spent.

On this night we began our first annual Employee Recognition Dinner to spotlight those who have gone above and beyond in their roles and were commended by community members, families, patients, and collaborative staff in our area.

A large part of EMS week every year is to recognize EMS and how integral we are in part of the communities we serve, and unfortunately under appreciated.

Tonight highlighted a small part where these amazing providers have acted well beyond expectations and were commended by the lives they have touched.

Each and every one of us strive to do our best regardless of the task at hand. Every one of those recognized showed great strength in teamwork, clinical advancements, improved safety measures, employee wellness on and off the clock, improved training programs, and most importantly treating the people in our community as if they were one of our own.

Please take a moment to thank those who truly define this year's EMS week theme,

"Improving outcomes, together"❤️

*Our crews working today were also provided dinner while still doing what they do best! 🚑🚨

What’s that? Day 3 of EMS week and a busy one it is!

Today thanks to our friends Food Rescue Food Truck we provided some delicious meals for our day and night shift crews.

Additionally, accepting an invite to participate in Upstate Trauma Festival today across from our areas Level 1 trauma center. The crew is there testing participants in their hands-only CPR skills and offering some super cool AMR swag 😎

Another day full of fun under the sun, all while staying cool under pressure. It’s really our super power 💪

Happy Monday and day 2 of EMS week!

What a beautiful Monday with the sun shining, and a UV that we’ve all been waiting for ☀️ 😎

There’s no better way to cool off than with some ice cream, and that’s just what ours crews did. 🍨

Special thanks to our first crew submission for sharing a photo of them in their natural element. It gave us the idea of a fun little photo contest 📸

So here it is, we challenge

As we kick off EMS Week, we want to recognize the extraordinary strength, dedication, and compassion of all our EMS professionals. Day and night, through every emergency and every challenge, you answer the call with courage and heart.

Thank you to all of our EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, supervisors, educators, and support staff for the lifesaving work you do and the difference you make in our communities every single day.

We kicked off the week with a pizza and wing dinner for both our day and night staff, (night shift your pizza is on the way). Follow along as we continue to celebrate everyday this week.

Happy EMS Week! 🚑💙
