This week is National School Lunch Week! University Place School District strives to create fresh, exciting, and cutting-edge school meals while meeting USDA nutrition requirements. We’re always testing new menu ideas, listening to student feedback, and looking for ways to keep our menus fresh and exciting. When possible, we also use food to introduce students to new flavors, foods, and cultures. Behind every lunch, every new recipe, and every smiling student in the serving line is a Nutrition Services employee who helped make it happen. Happy National School Lunch Week!
