Last week's Sac State university trip with Latinas Unidas and La Raza was a huge success. A special thank you to Soroptimist of Truckee for their generous support and for helping make this opportunity possible for our students.

The Copa de Alder Creek series, proudly spearheaded by Latinos Unidos! Semi-final round showdown between 8th graders and 6th graders. The championship will be 6th versus the ACMS staff.

A 'dry ice comet' lab hands-on science experiment simulates a comet's nucleus by mixing frozen carbon dioxide with water, dirt, and organic materials. It models how comets—often called 'dirty snowballs'—sublimate and release gas and dust to form tails when nearing Earth. Thank you, PTO, for the dry ice.
