🚨 VOTING PARKING REMINDER 🚨

Good afternoon, Smith County! As you head to the Smith County Election Hub to vote, we want to remind everyone to please be mindful of where you park and to help keep traffic moving safely.

🅿️ PLEASE USE THE FREE PARKING GARAGE!

Look for the marquee directing voters to the free parking garage. The marquee is there to help guide you to the appropriate parking area.

📍 Parking Reminders:

* ✅ Free Parking Garage: Please use the designated parking garage for free voter parking.
* ✅ Parking in Front of the Smith County Election Hub: Some spaces are available, but please be mindful that certain spaces are reserved for individuals with disabilities and curbside voting.
* 🚫 DO NOT PARK IN THE SMITH COUNTY CONSTRUCTION PARKING AREA. We have had several individuals park in this area. Although some have indicated that they did not see signs, the area is visibly an active construction site. Please do not park there.

⚠️ SLOW DOWN, PAY ATTENTION, AND LOOK FOR THE MARQUEE! Please take your time, watch for pedestrians, and follow the parking directions to help keep everyone safe.

We understand that parking can be frustrating during busy voting hours, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation. Let’s work together to keep the Election Hub accessible and safe for voters, employees, and construction crews.

Again, please park in the free parking garage or in the designated available spaces in front of the Smith County Election Hub. DO NOT PARK IN THE CONSTRUCTION AREA.

Thank you for your cooperation!

🚨 TRAFFIC ADVISORY – SMITH COUNTY EARLY VOTING 🚨

The Smith County Constable Pct. 1 Office would like to remind everyone traveling to the Smith County Election Hub for early voting to please be mindful of traffic flow and parking safety.

To help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently, please observe the following:

🚫 Do NOT park in front of the Animal Control Building or the Smith County Constable Pct. 1 Office. These areas are not designated parking spaces and must remain clear to allow traffic to flow appropriately.

🅿️ Please use designated parking spaces at the Election Hub or take advantage of the free parking garage located directly next to the Election Hub.

🚂 For your safety, please do NOT park near the railroad tracks along the side of the Election Hub building. Parking in this area could create a dangerous situation for you and your vehicle.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and patience as we work together to keep our community safe and traffic moving smoothly during early voting.

Please be courteous, follow posted parking regulations, and help us keep these areas clear for everyone’s safety!

Thank you for your cooperation!

💙💛 HAPPY NATIONAL BOSS’S DAY! 💛💙

Today, the Smith County Constable Pct. 1 Office proudly celebrates Constable Ralph Caraway Jr. and Chief Deputy Carolyn Brown in recognition of their leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to serving our team and the Smith County community. 🏆⭐

Leadership is more than holding a title — it is about setting the standard, inspiring others, leading with integrity, and making a lasting difference in the lives of those you serve. Through their hard work, vision, and dedication, Constable Caraway and Chief Deputy Brown continue to make a meaningful impact, strengthening our office and building a stronger connection with the community.

We are grateful for the countless hours, sacrifices, and heart they pour into their leadership and service. Their commitment reminds us that true leadership is not measured by a position, but by the lives touched, the people encouraged, and the positive changes made along the way.

10/15/2026

The Smith County Constable’s Pct 1 Office, is proud to announce the launch and approval of our new community initiative, Smith County Little Champions: Recognizing Character. Celebrating Champions! 🏆✨

We would like to acknowledge Whataburger Store #1146, Whataburger DKT Investments for their partnership and donations. Tressa Hawkins for her donation.

This initiative is all about recognizing and celebrating the amazing students who are making a difference in their schools by demonstrating leadership, kindness, compassion, and good character.

We will kick off this initiative by celebrating and recognizing two students—a boy and a girl—from each of the 13 schools within our precinct! Beginning the Month of November 🎉👏🏽

🏫 Our Participating Schools:
💙 Orr Elementary
💙 Griffin Elementary
💙 Austin Elementary
💙 Douglas Elementary
💙 Dixie Elementary
💙 Jones Elementary
💙 Boshear’s Elementary
💙 Pete Elementary
💙 Birdwell Magnet (Elementary Level)
💙 Ramey Elementary
💙 Caldwell Magnet (Elementary Level)
💙 Bonner Elementary
💙 Clarkston Elementary

We believe that being a champion is about more than trophies and awards. It’s about how you treat others, the choices you make, and the example you set for those around you.

Through Smith County Little Champions, we want to shine a light on students who:
⭐ Demonstrate leadership among their peers.
⭐ Stand up against bullying and show compassion toward others.
⭐ Choose kindness, even when it’s not the easiest choice.
⭐ Show respect, responsibility, and good character.
⭐ Do the right thing, even when no one is watching!

Our goal is to encourage our young people, reinforce positive behavior, and remind every child that WHO YOU ARE MATTERS! Your character, your kindness, and the way you treat others can make a lasting impact.

We will be meeting with the Principal/AP and Counselor from each school.

We are excited to partner with our local schools to recognize these outstanding students and celebrate the little champions who are helping make their school communities better every day! 💙🏆

Stay tuned as we begin this exciting journey of recognizing character and celebrating champions throughout Smith County!
