Serving Lake and Mendocino Counties since 1968, NCO is your local Community Action Agency. North Coast Opportunities, Inc.

We help people meet basic needs, improve health, and build self-sufficiency through early childhood education, caregiver support, housing, food, and emergency prep. (NCO) is the Community Action Agency that serves Lake and Mendocino Counties, as well as parts of Humboldt, Sonoma, Del Norte, and Solano Counties. NCO was established in 1968 as part of President Johnson's War on Poverty, with the mission of assisting families and individuals to overcome barriers and conditions of poverty. For one family caregiver, time away from caregiving meant picking up friendships that had been on hold for years. That is what respite can open up, and it is why we share the words of the caregivers we serve.

Reach out to RCRC at redwoodcrc.org to learn what support is available for your situation, because the right kind of help is something you deserve. 💚
