The UHS Drama Club is bringing “10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse” to the stage November 19–21! Students have been hard at work preparing for this fun-filled production, and they're excited to share it with the community!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Umatilla High School's Haunted House! 👻🎃

The UHS CommuniCare group exceeded their fundraising goal, raising over $870 to support nonprofit organizations that help low-income families and protect our environment!

A big thank you to all the clubs and programs that helped make this event a success by decorating rooms and bringing the scares to life!

Umatilla High School students will participate in a science demonstration involving sodium this afternoon. The demonstration is expected to produce loud noises that may be heard in the surrounding area. This is a planned classroom activity, and there is no reason for alarm.

During a system reset this morning, Columbia Vista Intermediate was accidentally placed into lockdown. All students and staff are safe, and there is no cause for alarm.

We had lots of Halloween fun across our district!

Our schools were filled with costumes, pumpkins, and spooktacular activities! Here are a few highlights from the celebrations!

A special thank you to the Umatilla Police Department for visiting Clara Brownell Middle School today to speak with students and lead an activity for Red Ribbon Week! We also want to thank Wolfies in Benton City for providing discounted pumpkins for our kindergarten students!

¡Nos divertimos muchísimo celebrando Halloween en todo nuestro distrito!

¡Nuestras escuelas se llenaron de disfraces, calabazas y actividades espeluznantemente divertidas! ¡Aquí les compartimos algunos momentos destacados de las celebraciones!

¡Un agradecimiento especial al Departamento de Policía de Umatilla por visitar hoy la Escuela Secundaria Clara Brownell, conversar con los estudiantes y organizar una actividad para la Semana del Listón Rojo! CBMS Boys Basketball rosters have been set. Please contact Mr. Brown or Mr. Bedolla if you have any questions regarding those. Practice times are as follows:

Monday-Thursday
3:30-4:30PM B Team (Tuesdays A team will practice at this time)
4:15-5:45PM A Team (Tuesdays B team will practice at this time)
5:30-6:30PM C Teams (Both 8th grade C team and 7th grade C team will practice together)

The official schedule will be sent out early next week once it is all finalized.

Ya se han definido los equipos de baloncesto masculino de CBMS. Si tienen alguna pregunta sobre los equipos, comuníquese con el Sr. Brown o el Sr. Bedolla. Los horarios de práctica son los siguientes:

De lunes a jueves:
3:30–4:30 PM: Equipo B (los martes, el equipo A practicará en este horario).

📢 CONFERENCE TIME UPDATE!

Parent-Teacher Conference times for Umatilla High School and Clara Brownell Middle School have been adjusted for Wednesday, November 4, to give families and staff the opportunity to attend the UHS Girls Soccer State Playoff game that evening! ⚽️💙🧡

All four schools will conduct a lockdown drill today, Thursday, October 29, at 10:00 AM. Families may notice police vehicles at our schools during this time. This is part of the scheduled drill, and there is no reason for alarm. Thank you to the Umatilla Police Department for assisting with the drill!

Please note that students will not be able to be picked up during the drill. If you need to pick up your student, please do so before 10:00 AM or after the drill is over.

Las cuatro escuelas realizarán un simulacro de confinamiento hoy, jueves 29 de octubre, a las 10:00 AM. Es posible que las familias vean vehículos de la policía en nuestras escuelas durante este tiempo.
