More transparency to cattle market cash reporting ✅

Secretary Rollins has announced an update to the USDA AMS Livestock Mandatory Reporting cash cattle reports. This update supports USDA’s cattle and beef-market transparency objectives by providing producers, livestock sellers, packers, and other market participants with more meaningful information about negotiated cash cattle prices.

Harvest relief for America’s farmers.

Today, President Donald J. Trump and Secretary Rollins announced the Harvest Fuel Relief Program — making $8 BILLION available for one-time payments to farmers facing higher costs and market disruptions.

Here’s what that means:

➡️ Payments to help cover a portion of estimated losses for the 2026 crop year.

➡️ Payment amounts based on planted acres, production costs, crop yields, and prices.

➡️ Row crop payment rates announced in November, with details for other eligible commodities to follow.

➡️ Application will be available online using a http://Login.gov account that is connected to USDA.

We’re expanding support for American cotton producers under the Great American Cotton Plan!

Today, Secretary Rollins announced new actions to restore our nation's cotton industry:

🌱 Expanded crop insurance flexibility for the 2027 crop year thanks to President Trump's Working Families Tax Cuts Act

🌍 Trade incentives that encourage key international markets to purchase U.S. cotton by offering preferential tariffs on apparel made with American cotton and textiles.

The funded projects help specialty crop businesses by enhancing food safety, supporting research, developing new and improved seed varieties and specialty crops, fighting pests and diseases, educating communities about healthy eating, and making it easier and more affordable to get specialty crops to market.
