AMERICA 250 | On January 3, 1777, the Continental Army surprised the British troops in Princeton. Fighting was fierce, but the Americans broke through enemy lines and notched another much-needed victory.

The Princeton Battlefield Society has meticulously preserved the site of this monumental battle. With the support of an NEH grant, the society is hosting a three-day commemoration of the event, “Experience the Battle of Princeton,” on December 27, 2026. https://tinyurl.com/skxbyuhv

AMERICA 250 | “Thomas Jefferson still lives!” is often said to be the last words from John Adams. Bitter rivals in life, Adams and Jefferson eventually came to a mutual understanding of each other later life.

With support from an NEH grant, the project Jefferson Lives! produced by Polyhymnia, is both an opera and an educational program.
