At Kansas City Airport, we toured the air traffic control tower and saw how $11 million is funding upgrades to communications systems and controller technology. In Olathe, we visited Indra’s radar manufacturing facility, which is on track to produce 40% of the radars being installed nationwide to help modernize the FAA’s air traffic control network.

These investments keep travelers safe, support American manufacturing, and ensure Kansas remains a key player in the future of aviation.

My dad served in the Air National Guard at McConnell AFB with the unit that is now the 184th Wing, and I’ve watched this wing grow and take on new missions throughout my life. Today, I saw firsthand the incredible work happening at Smoky Hill Bombing Range.

Today, I asked for unanimous consent on the Senate floor to advance our bipartisan Patients Deserve Price Tags Act — which would save families up to $1,000 a month in healthcare costs.

With only one senator objecting, we have a real opportunity to advance one of the most common-sense and cost-saving bills before Congress.

Another win for the American farmer!

Ethanol exports are up about 50% in four years, and Kansas ethanol plants are expanding thanks to 45Z. That means more demand for American-grown crops and more revenue back to the farmer.

Great meeting with Dr. Heidi Overton about her nomination to lead the FDA. She understands the hope patients and families have for new treatments, from cancer and rare diseases to the next breakthrough for Alzheimer’s.
