While our busiest time of the year may be over, Schumacher Farm Park's grounds and trails are still open to the public every day of the year! Fall is the perfect time to take a walk through the prairie, search for spiders, feed treats to the chickens, or just sit and watch the sunset. See you at the farm! 🍂⛅🍁🕸

Some of our Halloween at the Farm decor & activities will be left up through October 31st (or until the weather forces us to take them down). Come on out and stroll through the graveyard, look at the top of the barn for the giant spider and take a walk along the wagon route path to see the 12 Days of Halloween! All activities can be done on your own in the sunlight or moonlight (locations are lighted!). Hope to see you at the farm!

Saturday we welcomed over 1,000 folks to Halloween at the Farm! We heard from many attendees that it was so nice to have a family-friendly Halloween event that is unlike any other in the area 💖🎃 This event, our biggest one of the year, requires over 60 volunteers & we couldn't be more grateful for them. Without such a supportive team, an event this large just wouldn't be possible. One final thank you to our sponsors: Veridian Homes (Veridian Foundation), LSM Chiropractic of Waunakee, Greiber Heating & Sheet Metal, Kaitlin Lea - American Family Insurance Agent, and Main Street Market Piggly Wiggly Waunakee. It truly takes a village!

Many thanks to the Association of Women in Agriculture at UW-Madison for helping to make Halloween at the Farm a not-so-spooky success! This great group of women decorated the fortune teller station, witch house, storyteller station in the historic farmhouse, and the historic barn. Thank you so much ladies!
