While firefighters are superheroes every day, this morning they traded in their bunker gear for spandex as they visited children at Via Christ St. Francis in the pediatric and burn units dressed as some beloved, recognizable characters. 🦸 💪 The daycare kids also got to come watch the heroes outside as they loaded into a bucket truck to say hello to patients from outside of the building.

There was even a masked hero that looked a lot like the Mayor that went up to wave hello to the kiddos. 🚒 💕

The firefighters who participate say they get just as much, if not more, from bringing smiles to the kids' faces. 🧯
