After nearly three years of searching for answers, Karen Sandone finally learned why her husband Anthony had been experiencing changes in his behavior. At just 55 years old, he was diagnosed with younger-onset Alzheimer’s disease. And the news came in an email.

Across the country, Home Instead teams are showing up with purpose at Walk to End Alzheimer’s events—walking in honor of loved ones, supporting families and raising critical funds for the fight to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. 💜

We are proud to partner with the ’sAssociation as a Walk to End Alzheimer’s Gold National Team. Together, Home Instead has raised more than $5.7 million over the past 18 years, including $258,000 last year alone, to advance Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

💜🦪 The Pearl Society — Where Care Creates Community 🦪💜

One day, our wonderful Care Professional, Evelyn, had an idea while caring for a resident in memory care. She thought, “How wonderful would it be to start a Pearl Society Club?” ✨

She presented her idea, and the families absolutely loved it! I had the honor of attending their third luncheon, and my heart was filled with so much joy watching the residents we have the privilege of serving gather together to eat, laugh, dance, celebrate, and simply enjoy one another’s company. 🥰

Of course, they all wore their beautiful pearls, along with a scarf and brooch. Each luncheon has a different theme, making every gathering something special to look forward to. This time, we even had the pleasure of celebrating two family members’ birthdays! 🎂🎉💕

Moments like these are exactly what make everything we do so worthwhile.

I am incredibly proud of our Home Instead Care Professionals. They truly are one of a kind. They don’t just provide care — they create connection, bring joy, and find meaningful ways to make life a little brighter for the people they serve. 💚

I can’t wait for the next Pearl Society gathering… a beautiful tea party! ☕🫖🦪💐
