Abby Kelley Foster Charter School community, celebrate your achievements and accomplishments —you have made us all incredibly proud. This year’s commencement was truly festive and a wonderful occasion, filled with joy, pride, and lasting memories.

Yesterday, we came together to celebrate the incredible journey of our newest alumni, the Class of 2026! We are hard at work gathering the photos to share with you all very soon. What a great, memorable occasion for all!

Today, we shifted gears to look toward the future! The Elementary School was buzzing with energy and excitement as we held our Screening Day for the Class of 2039!

As you can see, Screening Day was all about connections. There were staff and teachers welcoming families at information and check-in tables, while parents and future students learned more about AKFCS.

We want to say thank you to everyone who made this day possible. Special thanks to Principal Duke, Mrs. Cabral, and the entire Kindergarten/First Grade teaching and assistant teaching teams for all their hard work.

Welcome, Class of 2039, to your new school family! We can't wait to see and celebrate your success!

We couldn't make it to all of the amazing field trips and excursions taking place across our Elementary and Middle Schools, but we did catch up with our 3rd graders during their visit to the Ecotarium!

Our students even treated everyone to a spirited rendition of the Abby Kelley Foster Charter School anthem!

🎓 Congratulations to the Class of 2026 Seniors! 🎓

On Thursday evening, our seniors took center stage at Senior Awards Night—a truly memorable celebration of their hard work, dedication, and achievements.

Principals Kerr, Davila, and Gitkind proudly recognized students for their academic success and for exemplifying our AKFCS character virtues. Executive Director Paluk and Mr. Penney honored students with IB ropes, certificates, and other distinguished awards, highlighting their commitment and excellence.

A heartfelt moment of the evening came as Mrs. MacDonald shared an inspiring speech, offering her sincere wishes for each student’s bright future as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.

The night was filled with remarkable accomplishments—countless hours of student service, highest GPA honors, and prestigious scholarships were celebrated.

Class of 2026, you are simply amazing! Your perseverance and determination have truly defined your journey at Abby Kelley Foster Charter School. Our entire AKFCS community could not be more proud of you.

The sun came through and the weather held up beautifully as AKFCS continued our rich tradition of celebrating our graduating class!

This year, the Class of 2026 took part in their Senior Stroll—walking through the Middle School, Elementary School, and back to the High School. For many of these seniors, their journey began right here at Abby Kelley Foster as Kindergarten students. Now, 13 years later, they have left an indelible footprint on our community.

Along the route, students, faculty, staff, and administration lined the hallways to cheer them on! We are so proud of the incredible young men and women they have become.

Students represented countries and nations on stage to an energized audience. The display was awesome, full of respect, pride, and global diversity. Many held up their phones, creating a glowing sea of lights that filled the auditorium with untiy.
