We currently have 79 dogs in our care.

Out of the 79 only one dog arrived neutered.

78 dogs roamed the streets that were not fixed. This is the main reason that we are at maximum capacity. These dogs keep multiplying and there are no homes for them.

We have dogs that have come in-in pairs.

We have 4 dogs that were found together.

We have dogs whose owners have contacted us and then left them here.

We have dogs whose owners know that they are here and they have never contacted us.

We have very young dogs that are growing up here.

We have scared dogs.

We have neglected dogs.

We have starving dogs.

We have dogs that were abandoned.

We have dogs that have not lived inside a home.

We have un-vetted dogs.

We have untrained dogs.

We have dogs lacking exercise.

We have dogs lacking mental stimulation.

We have dogs that have likely never known love.

Are they victims of the human race or are they survivors? It’s up to us to change their destiny.

Dogs are like kids.
They need somewhere comfortable to sleep.
They need healthy food to eat.
They need to learn things as they grow.
They need toys.
They need exercise.
They need excellent health care.
They need playtime.
They need one on one time.
They need babysitters/daycare sometimes.
They need training/school.
They need love.

What does this homeless pet epidemic say about the state of humankind? We are definitely doing something wrong.

Sabrina has waited a whole year for this!!!

September of 2023 Otis was adopted from us. Sadly his big sister has since passed away. Today he came back and chose Sabrina to be his new buddy. What an incredible way to end the week! ❤️

Sabrina came into the pound as a stray on October 21, 2025. She has grown up here. 💔
