Do you think Bingo is just an old person’s game?
Do you think it’s boring?

Our Bingo nights are filled with laughter, friendly competition, great prizes, delicious appetizers, fun cocktail-style drinks, and one of the best Bingo callers around—Doug Hudec ! 🎤✨

The entire vibe is fun, welcoming, and completely FREE. Whether you’re a first-time player or a seasoned Bingo champion, there’s something for everyone.
A special thank-you to Emerson & Bartlett Memorial Chapel for joining us in May and sharing valuable information with our families and guests. While it’s important to be prepared and informed, it’s also nice to gather together, have fun, and enjoy each other’s company. Thank you as well for sponsoring our grand prize basket! 🎁💛

🕯️💛 A Beautiful Evening of Remembrance 💛🕯️
One of the many beautiful things we do at Wildwood Canyon Villa is partner with like-minded organizations that share our commitment to supporting families through every chapter of life.
Together with Prestigious Hospice, we hosted a heartfelt Celebration of Life, where residents, families, and friends gathered to honor loved ones who are no longer with us.
The evening was filled with meaningful moments—a candlelight vigil, cherished stories, a beautiful violin performance, and comforting words from chaplains that brought a sense of peace, reflection, and healing. ✨
Grief is not just saying goodbye. Grief comes in many forms. It can be the loss of a loved one, a friendship, a season of life, or a dream. No matter the journey, gatherings like these remind us that we do not have to walk through it alone.
Those we love continue to live on in the stories we tell, the photos we share, the memories we cherish, and the names we lovingly speak. ❤️
This evening was a beautiful reminder that Wildwood Canyon Villa is more than an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. We are family. We are friendships. We are relationships built over time. We are a community that supports one another through life’s joys, challenges, celebrations, and moments of remembrance.
Together, we continue this journey we call life—with compassion, connection, and love.

🦕🌴 Sometimes a Scenic Drive Turns Into a Field Trip! 🌴🦕
At Wildwood Canyon Villa, we love our scenic drives, but every now and then they turn into an adventure! Recently, our residents took a trip out to the famous Cabazon Dinosaurs, where we enjoyed the sights, shared stories, and stepped back in time. 💛
Did you know? 🦖
✨ The giant dinosaurs were created by Claude Bell, a sculptor and former Knott’s Berry Farm artist who dreamed of building dinosaurs in the desert.
✨ Construction on the first dinosaur, Dinny the Dinosaur, began in 1964 and took more than a decade to complete.
✨ The famous Mr. Rex Tyrannosaurus Rex was completed in 1986 and stands over 65 feet tall, becoming a landmark for travelers along Interstate 10.
Our residents enjoyed the beautiful weather, the desert scenery, and reminiscing about family road trips and adventures from years past. Sometimes the best memories are made when a simple drive turns into something unexpected!
🚌💛 Stay tuned to see where our next adventure takes us!

💛 Supporting Seniors in Our Community 💛
At Wildwood Canyon Villa, we believe that staying connected to the community is an important part of healthy aging. That’s why we have proudly supported the Yucaipa Senior Center throughout the years by donating snacks, providing fun prizes, and participating in activities that bring seniors together. 🎉
Currently, we’re helping support Trivia Day, a fun event open to the public where seniors can stay cognitively active, build friendships, enjoy a snack, share some laughs, and spend quality time with one another. 🧠✨
The Yucaipa Senior Center offers a variety of programs designed to support wellness, socialization, and lifelong learning—and transportation is often available to help participants attend.
🌟 Benefits of participating at your local senior center:
✔️ Stay mentally active through games and educational activities
✔️ Build meaningful friendships and social connections
✔️ Enjoy a sense of purpose, community, and belonging
You may even run into Angelina, Lori, or Pat from Wildwood Canyon Villa while you’re there! We love being involved and supporting our local seniors.
If you would like more information about Assisted Living, Memory Care, respite stays, or senior resources, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

🦩💗 We May Be a Little Bird-Brained Around Here! 💗🦩
At Wildwood Canyon Villa, we love to laugh, be creative, and sometimes think outside the nest! 😄
Did you know these fun facts about pink flamingos?
🦩 Fact #1: Flamingos are actually born with gray or white feathers. Their famous pink color comes from the foods they eat, such as shrimp and algae.
🦩 Fact #2: Flamingos often stand on one leg for long periods of time, and scientists still aren’t completely sure why—but it helps them conserve energy!
🦩 Fact #3: A group of flamingos is called a “flamboyance”—and if you’ve ever seen a flock of bright pink birds, you’ll understand why!
Well, our very own Pat decided to put a Wildwood twist on things and reinvent the traditional derby race into a Pink Flamingo Derby! 🏁🦩
Residents cheered on their favorite flamingos as they raced against one another, creating plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories. Sometimes the best activities are the ones that make us smile, get a little silly, and embrace our inner flamingo!
After all, life is too short not to have a little fun—and occasionally get a little bird-brained! 💗🦩✨

Fun in the sun. ☀️ Our residents recently enjoyed a picnic on our patio, they enjoyed chicken, macaroni salad, potato salad, and delicious Hawaiian rolls.
