Throwback to June last year when our team tackled one of our biggest projects yet! 🛠️
We installed two brand-new Diesel Fire Pump Set systems at Rowland Flat Winery—a massive effort that required meticulous planning and over a week of intense production. Shout out to Prime Pumps for fabrication and build for us. We can’t wait to share what big projects we have coming up next!

A huge congratulations to our apprentice Darcy, who has just completed his Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade. He has shown incredible dedication throughout his apprenticeship and we are proud to support his career growth - Well done Darcy!

Jag Hire and Maintenance proudly partner with the Australian Industry Group Apprentice & Trainee Centre, advocating for apprentices and are committed to developing future talent into our industry. We look forward to guiding more of our apprentices through their training and helping them qualify.

Meet our Director!

Graham Dunn is the founder and owner of Jag Hire & Maintenance since 2013. As a qualified Automotive/ Diesel Mechanic since 1981, Graham has 37 years’ experience working with pumps and 25 years with Fire pumps.

Driven to innovate, Graham spent 10 years on the Board of Directors of The National Fire Industry Association (NFIA) - Australia's peak industry body for fire protection, representing contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers. Focused to improve fire industry professionalism, training and safety standards, Graham worked towards implementing changes that focused on Licensing.

Over the years, Graham has been involved in many rewarding projects. One that he is particularly proud of is the supply and installation of a new Diesel Prime Pumps Fire pump set in the basement of Old Royal Adelaide Hospital now Lot14. The whole site was in ongoing demolition and had the complexity of working across different work sites to access the basement. Each day created access changes due to the demolition program, and the team achieved the install on time with no incidents.

In addition to creating a successful business, Graham is a proud family man and enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Graham is committed to continuously providing a reliable service through Jag Hire and Maintenance and continuously building relationships with our clients, suppliers, contractors and employees.

JAG HIRE & MAINTENANCE ARE HIRING

Jag Hire & Maintenance are seeking a Service Person with any experience or knowledge in pumps and diesel engines. The successful applicant will perform service work on fire pump sets and other pump installations across South Australia.

This role will initially involve assisting our experienced tradespeople and will progress to working independently after a training period.

In addition to the fire industry, Jag Hire services a range of industrial customers onsite, including work on oil-water separators and other pump systems.

What we offer:
• Full training in fire pump servicing
• Permanent full-time position
• Monday to Friday – 7:00am start
• Opportunities for overtime and occasional overnight stays
• A supportive and growing team environment

Jag Hire & Maintenance is expanding and we are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible team member who is willing to take on a variety of duties and grow within the company.

We are based in Morphett Vale and travel across South Australia to deliver essential services, which has created the need for additional team members.

Requirements:
• Ability to pass a Police Check and DSCI screening
• Current valid driver’s licence
• COVID-19 and current Influenza vaccinations (required for work in aged care and hospitals)
• Basic computer literacy (reports and site inductions are completed online)
