Recently our Project Manager, Trisha, visited Kintore to meet with community members and discuss the upcoming recreation hall being built for the community and its young people.
There was lots of excitement around the project and the opportunities the new space will bring. We can’t wait to see the recreation hall become a hub for Kintore’s youth and families!

After the rain… Ampilatwatja Rec Hall is back!
Check out how the hall looks after some big rain - all dry with dirt everywhere!
A huge shoutout to our youth worker Daniel and little Durant for the incredible job cleaning up and getting the space ready again for youth programs.
So good to have the hall back up and running and being used again! 🧡

Big shoutout to the incredible Yuendumu women’s football team, the Warlpiri Warriors, who travelled to Atitjere Community for the DreamD Academy Footy Camp and secured the win!! 🏉
CAYLUS was proud to support the team with 25 hygiene packs, helping players feel comfortable, confident and independent while on their footy trip. These were handed out by our CAYLUS Project Officer Gina, who also plays an important role within the team 💛
Well done to all the teams who took part! Such an amazing turnout! 👏

Great to catch up with Liam from Caylus - Central Australian Youth Link Up Service.
CAYLUS is creating real opportunity for young Territorians, reducing the impact of drugs and alcohol through engaging, practical education.
We know how important this work is for our communities.
And it’s making a difference, with youth workers connecting directly with young Territorians where it matters most.

How cool are we! 😎
Last week, our youth worker Alice travelled out to Nyirrpi to deliver a school holiday program in collaboration with CDRC.
The young people had an absolute blast! getting their groove on at a disco, creating vibrant chalk drawings, beating the heat with bubbles, water balloons and epic water fights! 🎨
Such a fun and memorable week in community!

Our CAYLUS Youth Worker Alice teamed up with STKIC to host a fabulous Girls Night at Wanta in Yuendumu last night✨
The girls got creative with fun, colourful tie-dye on t-shirts and socks and enjoyed some nail pampering too 💅
So many smiles, laughs and great vibes all around. It was beautiful to see everyone having so much fun together.
Such a special evening filled with creativity, connection and confidence building for our young women 💜
