ποΈ Year 4 Camp Adventure! π
Yesterday morning, our Year 4 students headed out to the Telegraph Station for an exciting overnight camp experience, taking part in the Alice on the Line program.
Throughout the day, students rotated through a range of hands-on activities, including pottery, a scavenger hunt, cooking delicious scones, blacksmithing, and tea staining paper while practising writing in old-style fonts. Students also enjoyed a beautiful walk up Tigg Hill and a cemetery walk, taking in the rich history and stunning surroundings of the area.
After dinner, students were treated to a special snack of kangaroo tail. A huge thank you to Emma L for taking the time to cook it and bring it out for the students to try. We really appreciate your generosity and helping make the experience even more memorable.
A special thank you to Aleisha for supporting the students throughout the day and assisting with the camp activities. Your help was greatly appreciated and helped make the experience a success.
Thank you also to Emma B for volunteering your time to attend camp and stay overnight with the students and staff. Your support and commitment are greatly appreciated.
A massive thank you to our wonderful staff who helped make this camp such a memorable experience for our students: Ms Warner, Mrs Pedrotti, Miss L, Miss Leila, Mr Obie, and Ms Rhi. Thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and care in providing such valuable learning opportunities for our students.
We would also like to thank our families for providing morning tea and for helping get students to and from camp. Your support is greatly appreciated and helps make opportunities like this possible.
Today, the Year 4 students and teachers walked into town to visit the cinema and watch The Wild Robot, the book they have been studying in class throughout the semester. It was a great way to bring their learning to life and compare the story they know so well with its adaptation on the big screen.
We hope all of our Year 4 students had an amazing time camping with their friends, learning new skills, exploring local history, and creating wonderful memories together. ππ

A dozen Bradshaw students have been working hard over the past ten weeks on Monday at lunchtimes to create solo and duet choreographies for the Eisteddfod. Rehearsals culminated at Araluen Arts this morning! Our adjudicator was highly encouraging commenting upon dancers' good use of the space, eye focus towards the audience, and performance skills. Ms Smithson, Miss Cindy and Miss Rhi are incredibly proud of all of our dancers for their dedication to rehearsals, creative insight and theatre etiquette. We are especially proud of our students for their excellent support of dancers from different schools and studios; they were respectful, reassuring, and uplifting. Go Team Bradshaw!
