Important Notice – RSS Shop Technical Difficulties

There is currently a statewide issue affecting our QRSS Payment System. While the team is actively working towards a resolution, families will be unable to pay levies until further notice.

Please note: this will not affect student attendance at events scheduled for this week.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while this issue is being resolved.

Updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.

⚠️ TRIALS POSTPONED 10-12 FOOTBALL ⚠️

Due to ongoing rain and field conditions, the 10–12 Years Boys and Girls Football Trials have been postponed.

Information regarding the rescheduled date will be communicated through Districts once confirmed.

TRIALS POSTPONED: 10-12yrs Tennis

The 10-12yrs Tennis trials scheduled for today, 13 May, have been postponed due to weather. The rescheduled date will be communicated to all players as soon as it is scheduled.

All other details regarding the trial remain the same.

📣 Rugby Union Trials – Venue Update (11–12 Years & 14–15 Years)

Please be advised that the Rugby Union trials for the 11–12 Years and 14–15 Years age groups have been moved to Padua College Playing Fields, Banyo.

📍 222 Elliott Road, Banyo

All other trial details remain unchanged.

Please refer to the communication previously sent from District officials for full information regarding times, check-in and requirements.

📣 Important Venue Update – Metropolitan North Touch Football Trials

Please be advised that the Metropolitan North Touch Football Trials will be held at Shaw Road – Valley Hockey Club, NOT at South Pine Sports Complex.

🕗 All students are asked to arrive by 8:00am to allow time to check in with District officials prior to the commencement of trials.

Please ensure all players arrive prepared and on time. We look forward to a great day of trials for all.

SWIMMING UPDATE

All Metropolitan North Swimming team members should now have received an email from their Age Group Officials with important information regarding the upcoming State Championships.

Please note the following reminders in your paperwork:
- Uniform orders have now closed.
- Team Photo and Meeting / Uniform Collection afternoon
- The State Championships levy is now due. Please ensure this is finalised as soon as possible if you have not yet completed payment.

If you have not received the email from your Age Group Official, please check your junk/spam folder or make contact with them directly. Details are available on our website.

📢 RUGBY LEAGUE TRIAL UPDATE

Due to field closures, the 15–16 and 17–18 Boys and Girls Metropolitan North Rugby League Trials have been postponed.

The trials have now been rescheduled to Monday, 16 March.

Please note that all other details, including venue and times, remain the same.

Thank you for your understanding. Further updates will be communicated through District officials if required.

Trials Postponed - Monday 9th March.

Due to the ongoing wet weather predictions and the current condition of the fields, the 13–14 Years Boys and Girls Australian Football Trials have been postponed.

A new trial date will be communicated through District Officials once it has been confirmed.

🏐QRSS 19 Years & Under Boys Netball Expression of Interest 🏐

QRSS is now seeking Expressions of Interest from boys aged 16–19 years to trial for the QRSS 19 Years & Under Boys Queensland Netball Team.

Eligibility:
✔ 19 Years & Under – students born 2007–2010

Key Dates:

📅 EOI Survey closes: Friday 13 March 2026
📅 Trial invitations sent to athletes: Friday 20 March 2026
📅 Levy payment due (if selected to trial): Monday 5 May 2026
📍Selection Event: Saturday 23 May 2026, Coomera Indoor Sports Centre
📍Selection Event: Sunday 24 May 2026, Gold Coast Indoor Sports & Leisure Centre, Carrara

All interested students must register to attend the selection weekend. Following the close of registrations, applicants will be notified and, if invited to trial, required to pay a trial fee (approximately $120–$150) and complete required paperwork.

The selected team will progress to a high-performance event (date TBC). Please note that students selected in the Queensland team should anticipate additional costs associated with attending this event.

Metropolitan North Office Closure Notice

Please be advised that the Metropolitan North Office is closed today as our staff are attending the Regional Swimming Trials and the 15-19 years Boys Cricket State Championships, proudly hosted within our region.

We appreciate your understanding as our team supports these important representative school sport events.
