Just a quick thank you post to everyone who attended our Halloween event tonight!

A more thorough post with photos will come soon, but for now thanks so much to the Community Bank Lara District for their sponsorship of this amazing evening.

Thank you to the various organisations that attended, to our dedicated volunteers who kept the show running and to the wonderful community for being so patient and polite during a few hiccups.

Please share any fun pics you took below and we hope to see you at next years Halloween event.

With only a month to go until the Victorian state election on Saturday 28 November, we’ve got your checklist covered. 🗳️🌭

✅ Check your enrolment. Make sure your details are up to date with the Victorian Electoral Commission by 8pm Tuesday 3 November. Postal vote applications open on 4 November. Visit vec.vic.gov.au

✅ Find your democracy sausage fix. Track down your local voting site serving up the classic sausage sizzle (onions included, of course 🧅).

✅ Help get Greater Geelong on the agenda. Explore our priority projects and talk about what matters to our region.

We’re calling on all candidates to support the projects and investment our growing community needs, including:

✈️ Avalon Airport
🚌 Transport
🏙️ Central Geelong
🎾 Regional sporting infrastructure

We also have community plans and policy reforms ready for support.

Find out more about our priorities and help keep Greater Geelong’s needs on the agenda at 👉 geelongcity.vic.gov.au/advocacy

Today we had some visitors from Barwon Valley School. They had a tour, then harvested some carrots from our Windsor Park Community Garden. Enough carrots to fill the kitchen sink!
