✂️ Calling all homeschool families! Give your child the chance to discover the joy of sewing, learn new skills and create something amazing with their own hands!

📅 Starting Tuesday, 6 October (Every Tues during school term)
⏰ 12 pm – 2 pm
👧 Ages 10 and over (younger children may be considered if capable)

All basic sewing equipment and materials are provided. Children just need to bring a water bottle, wear enclosed shoes and a willingness to give it a go!

Calling local baristas ☕
Have coffee skills to share? Help empower young people by building their confidence, teaching them to make great coffee and supporting them as they prepare for their first job.

Studio Village Community Centre is looking for volunteer baristas who are available one morning a week on a regular basis, around 8–11 am.

By sharing your skills and encouragement, you can help young people believe in their abilities and feel ready to take their first steps into work.

👘 Try on Traditional Chinese Dress!

Celebrate Children’s Week 2026! Step into the beauty of traditional Chinese culture at our community centre! Children will have the opportunity to dress up in traditional Chinese outfits, including the elegant hanfu and qipao, and admire their beautiful fabrics, intricate patterns and colourful designs. It’s a wonderful chance to explore Chinese culture, have fun dressing up and even purchase a special outfit to take home!
