Alf was keen to get out for a fish, with the forecast not looking best I suggested staying inside the port and picked a good wind with tide location.
It was slow going with only one bite for the tide, but it was the one he was after.

This beauty of a Cuttle fish was a welcome bycatch and hit the plate that night with some lemon pepper seasoning

Drew and the boys came down from the bush launching at Queenscliif for a Portsea pick up.
They were keen to have a crack at fishin the bay in their own boat.
After picking up a few calamari we zoned in on the whiting grounds and after a few moves we ticked them over and the boys are going home with a great feed

Jack got to PB twice today on gummy sharks off shore this morning in a mayhem session.
We had only just got the spread out when the first rod buckled over and it just kept going from there with 4 gummy sharks and 2 school sharks landed in under 2 hours.
Stand out bait was barrel bluefin blood lines ๐

Today's late launch paid off with a swift ride offshore. Initially starting slow, we made a tactical adjustment to target the reef's bait fish hotspot, and before we knew it, the sharks were hitting the baits. We ended the day on a high note, reeling in a school shark, a gummy, and a few pinkyโs and cuttle fish.
