๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ Mabo Day ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ

Today we acknowledge Mabo Day, a significant moment in Australiaโ€™s history that recognises the landmark High Court decision which led to the legal recognition of Native Title.

We honour the legacy of Eddie Mabo and reflect on the importance of truth, justice, and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and connections to Country.

As a school community, we are committed to learning, listening, and continuing to build understanding and respect for the worldโ€™s oldest continuing cultures.

Attendance- Every Day Counts
Being at school every day makes a difference. Regular attendance helps students stay connected to their learning, build strong relationships with teachers and friends, and develop the life skills that support long-term success. Missing even a few days can make it harder to keep up, both academically and socially. We encourage all families to prioritise attendance and support students to be at school, on time, every day.

Every day counts!
