Rugby League State Finals Gala Day for our Junior Academy 🏉🔰

This week, 3 of our squads competed in the 13v13 Gala Day State Finals with some amazing results!

14s Boys went 6-0. Winning all 4 round games, the Semi and Grand Final. Only conceding 3 tries the whole day.

14s Girls made the Grand final but unfortunately lost. However, the girls still produced some awesome results for the day with 1 draw and 5 wins before the Grand Final.

16s Girls also made the Grand Final but unfortunately lost with 30s to go!! Once again, producing amazing results for the day with 3 wins and 1 loss prior to the Grand Final.

It also must be included that all finals were between VUSC & The Grange. A great day with great competition!

All squads have been relentlessly training year-round. Fortunately, our kids get the opportunity to perform in many different competitions across the year, however, each time we go out and play, they continue to demonstrate all the countless hours of work they put in week in week out.

Their professionalism, teamwork and courteous service were outstanding, and they represented our College with pride and respect throughout the evening. 🌟

We are incredibly proud of the way these students conducted themselves and the positive impression they made on our school community.

Thank you for your hard work and commitment — you are wonderful ambassadors for VUSC! 💙💛
