We aim to deliver opportunities and experiences which will stay with our students for a lifetime. Students only pass through their school years once we know that their learning foundations are sound, in preparation for future growth. We offer a developmental curriculum within a straight age setting, developing all students' capacity as learners through our commitment to quality teaching, personalised learning, and a differentiated curriculum. Our curriculum is challenging and relevant and caters to the diverse abilities and needs within our learning community. We aim to develop in our students a love of learning, strong communication skills, with the ability to be confident, responsible, creative, and critical thinkers, and to be socially connected, independent, and resilient. We celebrate a history of strong academic achievement. We provide specialist programs in Science, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Japanese. In addition, we provide a diverse range of enrichment opportunities, competitions, and programs to students of high potential and talent. Design and technology and digital technologies are integrated purposefully, and continuous improvement of student and teacher learning is embedded in our school culture, demonstrated by learning that is meaningful and rigorous. Extracurricular opportunities are offered in academics, performing arts, visual arts, and sport. Positive relationships with the students and their families, based on trust, respect, and support are built. Each student is highly valued, as is their time with us. We endeavour to unearth their talents, arouse their interests, promote the development of self-esteem, collaboration, learner agency, and a strong student voice. The school highly values education as a partnership of students, staff, parents, and the local and wider community. Parent participation in classrooms and extra-curricular activities is strongly encouraged and valued.

We’re halfway through our Step Challenge as part of the AIA Healthiest Schools Challenge! 💚

Each year level is taking their turn with our school pedometers, with families working together to rack up as many steps as possible.

Our goal is to encourage more physical activity and quality time with the family, while lessening screen time.

A huge thank you to all the families who have embraced the challenge so far!

🌈 This week in Health, our Year 1 and 2 students tasted the rainbow! As they explored a variety of colourful fruits and vegetables, students learned how different colours can help keep different parts of our bodies healthy. For example, red fruits and vegetables can help support a healthy heart! ❤️ A fun and tasty way to learn about the importance of eating a rainbow of foods! 🍎🥕🫐

We are so proud of our school community who came together today to complete Nedd's Uncomfortable Challenge!

We saw so much resilience, perseverance and grit as our students challenged themselves, stepped outside their comfort zones and smashed their lap goals! 💪🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge well done to our Student Representative Council, students and family members who participated in the challenge and those who sponsored students. It helped make today such a meaningful experience! 💙👏
