What a wonderful day at Cudgegong Valley Public School! 💗

Today we held Pink Up Cudge, raising money for the McGrath Foundation, and celebrated Grandparents Day with a lovely picnic lunch, a concert and open classrooms.

Our day was made even more special by a plant sale, generous grandparents who donated new books to our library, and some very enthusiastic treasure hunts shared by grandparents and their grandchildren. 🌱📚🗺️

Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, helped out and made the day such a memorable celebration of our school community. 💚❤️

Year 1 had a wonderful day in Bathurst today, visiting the Australian Fossil Museum! 🦖

The students enjoyed exploring the fascinating fossils and rocks, with the life-size T. rex proving to be a real highlight. We finished the visit with a lovely picnic in the park.

What a fantastic day of discovery! 🌿

🎶 A wonderful day of music and collaboration! 🎺🎷

Yesterday, our talented band students joined Chatswood Band for a full-day workshop, culminating in a fantastic performance for the whole school! 🎵

It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to develop their musical skills, learn from experienced musicians, and experience the joy of making music together.

A huge thank you to Chatswood Band for sharing their time, knowledge and passion for music with our students. What a memorable and inspiring day! 👏🎶

🦕🦖 Debating update! 🦕🦖

Our CVPS Raptors team put their debating skills to the test today, arguing against banning presents at children’s birthday parties in the Regional Semi-finals of the NSW Premier’s Debating Challenge.

Reaching this stage is a fantastic achievement. We are proud of our students’ preparation, teamwork and confidence in presenting their case.

Congratulations to Mudgee Public School’s Masterminds, who won today’s debate! Thank you for hosting us and sharing a lively and enjoyable debate.
