🛩Plane Crash | Murwillumbah 🛩

At approximately 9:20am this morning, Firefighters from 391 Murwillumbah responded to reports of a plane crash at Murwillumbah airfield.

Firefighters arrived to find a small plane had crashed into the cane drain at the end of the runway.
They quickly secured the site and established fire protection.
The occupant of the plane had already exited the vehicle on arrival and was treated by NSW Ambulance.

391 were quickly assisted by Murwillumbah Rural Fire Service, Tweed District Rescue Squad - VRA Rescue NSW, Tweed/Byron Police LAC and Fire and Rescue NSW Station 468 Tweed Heads.
