The Parramatta Half Marathon will result in temporary changes to traffic and access across the city this weekend.

On Sunday, 21 June 2026, Parramatta becomes the stage for the Parramatta Half Marathon. This is a major sporting event and will result in temporary changes to traffic and access across the city.

Significant road closures and special event clearways will be in effect from 3am on Sunday, 21 June around the Parramatta CBD, Parramatta Park and the river foreshore.

To help reduce congestion and delays on race day, we recommend that you:

- Where possible, avoid non‑essential travel in and around the Parramatta CBD
- Plan your route in advance and allow extra travel time
- Use public transport where possible
- Move your vehicle out of any clearway zones before midnight on Saturday, 20 June
- Follow event signage and temporary traffic directions. Special event clearways will be enforced.

We strongly urge all residents and businesses to plan alternate routes well in advance.
