This week we acknowledged National Sorry Day and now National Reconciliation Week.

This year’s theme, “All In”, reminds us that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility. We each contribute by listening, learning, being respectful and through our actions.

Our students are engaging in age-appropriate discussions and research in class. We believe understanding Australia’s shared history is important. That unfair and harmful things happened in the past, that these things caused lasting hurt, and that reconciliation asks all of us to listen, learn and help build a more respectful future.

At PMPS, we respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and pay respect to the ongoing living cultures of First Peoples.

French poetry 💙🤍❤️

Today, Ruby from Year 3, and 35 other brave linguists from Years 3-6 participated in the Berthe Mouchette Competition. They each chose a poem reflecting this year's theme "Des ponts entre nous / Bridges Between Us".

We are so proud of our students for stepping outside their comfort zones and sharing their love of French language.

Bonne chance à tous! 💙🤍❤️

Grandparent’s/Special People Day is one of our favourites! ❤️💙

There was so much love and kindness in the classrooms today! It was wonderful to hear stories, compare experiences and of course play some fun games together.

A big thank you to all the grandparents who also sponsored a book for our library! Our young readers will love the fresh new books on the shelves.
