The past fortnight has been a busy and exciting time for Performing Arts at Patterson River Secondary College, with students showcasing their talents through our Dance Showcase, Junior Performing Arts Showcase and second-ever Vocal Soirée.
These events provided students with valuable opportunities to perform in front of live audiences, build confidence and further develop their skills. It has been particularly pleasing to see so many junior students getting involved across a range of performing arts disciplines, while our senior students continue to demonstrate the results of their hard work, dedication and passion.
Thank you to the parents, family members and members of our wider community who attended these performances. Your support helps create authentic performance opportunities for our students and plays an important role in encouraging them to pursue their interests and talents.
Thank you also to our Performing Arts staff for their commitment in supporting students both on and behind the stage. Congratulations to every student who performed and contributed to the success of these events.
There is plenty more to come, with Wakakirri rehearsals continuing, the Year 8 Band preparing for upcoming performances, and students already beginning preparations for our Annual Spring Concert.

On Thursday, our student leaders led a wonderful whole-school assembly, honouring this important day with respect and care.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all ADF personnel, past and present, for their service and sacrifice—especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
