Please note the centre will close from 5pm on Tuesday, May 26th, remain closed on Wednesday, May 27th, for scheduled maintenance and reopen at 5am on Thursday, May 28th.

Looking for a fun, structured way for your kids to build confidence in the water or take their water polo to the next level? This off-season we’re launching two junior programs at UQ Water Polo:  Introductory & Early Skills (Ages 6–13) (1 session per wk, 4 sessions total): $130pp (includes sessions and pool entry) 6–8 years: shallow pool, parents in the water, building water confidence and simple ball skills through games. Tuesdays 4.30-5.30pm 8–10 years: shallow pool, must be able to swim 25m independently, growing core skills and game awareness. Tuesdays 5-6pm 10–13 years: deep pool, must be able to swim 50m independently, refining technique and introducing more structured play. Wednesdays 5-6pm  Hungarian Academy (Ages 14–18) (2 sessions per wk, 9 sessions total) : $280pp (includes sessions and pool entry) For strong swimmers who already know the basics of water polo. Led by two highly qualified coaches, focusing on advanced skills, tactics and game intensity. Upcoming Facility closure - Pool maintenance. Please note that all pools at MPAC will be closed at 5pm on Tuesday 26 May 2026 to allow for maintenance. The centre will remain closed on Wednesday 27 May 2026 and will reopen 5am on Thursday 28 May 2026. We appreciate your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience.
