Representative football will feature on the AFLW stage in 2026, with NAB AFLW Australia v Ireland to be held on Saturday, August 1 at North Sydney Oval.
The historic clash will bring together some of the competition’s biggest stars and emerging talent to celebrate the continued growth of women’s football and the strong connection between AFLW and Ireland.
General Public tickets go on sale on Wednesday 24 June at 12pm AEST.

A fantastic evening at for the Culture Ireland showcase featuring artists participating in this year’s National Celtic Folk Festival in Australia. 🇮🇪🎶
The evening featured performances from Saltaire, Seamus & Caoimhe and The Bath Street Boys, bringing together contemporary and traditional Irish folk music in a fantastic venue.
Our thanks to the for the invitation and to for supporting these artists to reach audiences in Australia.
If you missed the Sydney showcase, the artists will also be performing at the National Celtic Folk Festival in Portarlington next weekend.
