The FRONTIER team was honoured to attend the Dean’s Tumut Golf Day Charity Event, celebrating its 10th anniversary!

With 120 golfers taking part and raised over $30,000, the event was a wonderful demonstration of the community coming together to support an important cause.

This year’s event was particularly meaningful as it marked the first year without Stephen, Jane’s beloved husband, who lived with FTD.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jane and her family for their ongoing dedication to raising awareness of FTD and supporting our research. Their efforts help bring greater understanding to the condition and contribute to the ongoing work towards improving the lives of people living with FTD and their families.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated and helped make this milestone event such a success. Your support makes a real difference to the FTD community.

Another tremendous success for our annual FRONTIER Carer Information Day.

We were pleased to welcome 67 participants; 33 in person and 34 online. We took this opportunity to provide an update on FTD research, support for care partners, and clinical trials.

This week, we kick off World FTD Awareness Week, encouraging everyone to shine a spotlight on FTD!

Shine a spotlight on FTD and those affected by it to raise awareness of FTD around the world. To shine a spotlight on FTD, simply:

1. Post positive personal messages about people living with FTD, who support FTD families/caregivers, or who work to improve FTD awareness, care or research. Use and to help others discover related content on the campaign.

2. Challenge others to do the same by tagging them on your post!

We'd love this campaign to go viral!

Join the Spring Art and Dementia Community Day at the MCA, celebrating the powerful connection between creativity, art and community.

The day will feature creative works by participants and MCA artist-educators, presentations from speakers across the dementia and aged care sectors, and a special exhibition of work by Artful alumnus Brian O’Rourke.

Brian’s exhibition will be on display throughout September as part of Dementia Awareness Month and will be available to view by appointment.
