After representing the NSWCHS Open Women's Netball Team at the prestigious NSW All Schools Tri Series, Marley has been recognised as one of the state's outstanding players, earning selection in the NSW All Schools Open Merit Team.

It was fantastic to see so many students and staff wearing their Socceroos jerseys or green and yellow today to show their support for the Socceroos in their final group stage match against Paraguay.
A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and helped create a sea of green and gold around the school. Itβs exciting to see the Socceroos progress through to the Round of 32, and we wish them all the best as they continue their FIFA World Cup journey.

July School Holiday Programmes (All Events Free)
CORE Community Services are hosting four distinct activities designed to keep local students active, engaged, and social during the break:
β’ Event 1: Zoo Excursion β A fully supervised day trip exploring wildlife and conservation.
β’ Event 2: Tenpin Bowling Day β A fun, social day of friendly competition and games.
β’ Event 3: Cupcake bake& decorate β Bake your own cupcakes, decorate them and take them home!
β’ Event 4: Games Day β Wide range of activities and challenges at Miller.
Please note that while these events are entirely free, places are strictly limited to ensure proper supervision. To secure a spot, all completed registration and permission forms must be returned before 8 July 2026.
You can collect a permission note from the front office.
How Students or Families Can Register
To secure a place for your child, please ensure all completed permission forms are returned by Wednesday, 8 July 2026.
Forms can be submitted using either of the following methods:

Touch Football
This week we had eight athletes representing SSW at the Opens Girls CHS Touch Football Championships at Nelson Bay - Caelah Lafolua (Year 10), Sade Bott (Year 11), Jordyn Brown (Year 11), Ruby Parker (Year 11), Mahalea Pinto (Year 11), Khiarna Munro (Year 12), Zara Stanford (Year 12) and Aaliyah Womal (Year 12).
Special mention to Aaliyah who was selected to represent NSW CHS at the National Youth Championships!
