Yesterday our year 10 students and families had the opportunity to attend the Careers & Subjects Expo, exploring a wide range of pathways, industries, training opportunities and future career options. It was a great afternoon filled with conversations, inspiration and valuable insights as students began thinking about their senior study options and futures beyond school.

A huge thank you to all of the exhibitors, organisations, staff, alumni, student volunteers and presenters who generously gave their time and shared their knowledge and experiences. Your support helps our students make informed decisions about their futures, and we look forward to seeing where their pathways lead!

Celebrating 70 years of Werribee Secondary College πŸŽ‰

Originally opened in 1956 as Werribee High School, the first high school in the Wyndham area, Werribee Secondary College has a rich and proud history. Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming back some of our early alumni, known as the 'WHS Old School Group', for a special trip down memory lane.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect together on how far the school has come, explore how it has evolved over the years, and share stories that continue to shape our community.

Here’s to 70 years of learning, growth, and connection, with many more still to come! πŸ’™

We thank our WSCACU cadets for leading a meaningful ANZAC Day commemoration today at the college. With a speech, music, and a minute of silence observed across the school, our cadets conducted a flag ceremony and were joined by fellow students in laying a wreath.

β€œThey shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”

Lest we forget.
