Today, members of FILTER Bangladesh attended the Lessons Learned and Knowledge Sharing Event of the Integrated Approach Towards Sustainable Plastics Use and Marine Litter Prevention in Bangladesh project, organised by the Department of Environment (DoE) in collaboration with UNIDO, with financial support from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Dhaka.

The event brought together stakeholders to share project achievements, lessons learned, and future priorities for sustainable plastic management, recycling, and marine litter prevention in Bangladesh.

As a youth-led environmental organisation, FILTER Bangladesh remains committed to promoting circular economy practices, responsible waste management, and practical solutions to plastic pollution.

FILTER Bangladesh at People Led Policy: Bangladesh Position @ COP31

Today, FILTER Bangladesh participated in the national dissemination and validation dialogue of the CSO-Led National Position Paper for COP31, held in Dhaka on 24 October 2026.

The dialogue brought together civil society organisations, climate advocates and development partners to discuss Bangladesh’s priorities ahead of COP31 in Türkiye.

For FILTER Bangladesh, climate action must reflect the realities of frontline communities. We believe climate policies should ensure access to Loss and Damage funding, promote child- and gender-sensitive climate action, and support a just energy transition that leaves no vulnerable community behind.

We remain committed to amplifying youth voices and advancing practical, inclusive solutions for a climate-resilient Bangladesh.

পরিচ্ছন্ন বাতাসের জন্য শুধু অপেক্ষা করলে চলবে না, পরিবর্তনের জন্য এগিয়ে আসতে হবে আমাদেরই।

দায়িত্বশীল আচরণ, সচেতনতা এবং সম্মিলিত উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে তরুণরাই পারে বায়ুদূষণ কমাতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখতে। কারণ, আজকের সচেতন পদক্ষেপই গড়ে তুলতে পারে আগামী দিনের নির্মল বাতাস।

FILTER Bangladesh participated in the programme on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), RECP and DfE Implementation in Bangladesh, organized by UNIDO Bangladesh in collaboration with the Department of Environment (DoE), on 15 October 2026 in Dhaka.

As a youth-led environmental organization, FILTER Bangladesh supports efforts to establish and strengthen EPR across Bangladesh’s plastic sectors and promote plastic circularity through responsible production, consumption, collection, and recycling.

We look forward to actively contributing to national efforts to advance EPR implementation, support sustainable plastic management, and build a circular economy in Bangladesh through collaboration with UNIDO Bangladesh, the Department of Environment, industries, and other stakeholders.
