Another night of hard work preparing for the ACR.

As this year’s ACR approaches, the cadets of 2554 are working hard to prepare for the parade. Lots of drill preparation tonight!

The Growing Smiles fundraiser was a big success! The plants were delivered today and they are absolutely beautiful. Thank you to everyone for their support, including Legion 289 members who placed a number of orders.

Tonight was a big night for 2554 PPCLI Army Cadet Corps.
A night of drill practice, and lesson preparation for the seniors, followed by CO’s parade.
We had presentation of cap badges, a promotion of one of our cadets, as well as one of our officers.
Maj Pertson was also on hand to present 2 of the corps officers with their commissioning scrolls.

Today the cadets of 2554 were honoured to be able to spend a few hours with the veterans at the Colonel Belcher Retirement Residence.
Such a great experience for all.

Tonight we had a night of marksmanship with background classes and handling tests on the Daisy air rifle for our newer cadets.
Such a great night!

Tonight was a busy night, with CO’s parade, presentations, and classes that reviewed radio voice procedure and navigation. While all of that was occurring, we were sizing for uniforms and the parents committee were busy staying ahead of all of the supports they provide us.

Today members of 2554 were honoured to be a part of the parade remembering the Battle of Vimy Ridge on its 109th anniversary.
