Red Door Family Shelter’s 'Pathway to Housing' helps families move from crisis toward stability, independence, and permanent housing.

Families begin with a safe place to stay and support with their basic needs.

They also receive personalized help with finding housing, counselling, children’s and youth programs, everyday skills, and connections in the community.

Our support continues beyond shelter, helping families rebuild their lives, improve their well-being, and maintain stable housing over the long term.

At Red Door, we provide a safe haven for women and families escaping abuse, offering counselling, life-skills training, and support to heal and rebuild.

Last year, almost half of the families at Red Door were escaping violence and abuse.
