The Istituto Italiano di Cultura Toronto, in collaboration with the Librissimi Toronto Italian Book Festival, presents Canadiensis: a talk that traces an extraordinary journey across the country.

Emerging from a 75 day, 21,000 kilometre expedition from the Pacific to the Atlantic and back, this talk offers a compelling exploration of contemporary Canada. Drawing on field notes, conversations, and extensive visual documentation, Dr. Arianna Dagnino and Dr. Stefano Gulmanelli present a nuanced portrait of the nation, shaped by time spent listening to artists, farmers, Indigenous elders, activists, newcomers, community leaders, and everyday Canadians in both major urban centres and remote communities.
